DAYTON, OHIO -- Puff Apothecary is relocating to 605 E 5th St in the Oregon District. Thanks to a significant investment from the owner of Puff Apothecary and the property owner, they have spent the last several months renovating the entire historic space.
In 2018, Puff Apothecary had been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Miami Valley Community Action Partnership to expand existing boutique to offer hair styling services. Puff Apothecary will be using their natural based products to define curls and will provide braiding and loc services as well. They will also be expanding their apothecary items to include more plant based oils, ayurvedic plant powders like henna, and shea butter.
“We love the area and historic building” says Bethany Ramsey owner of Puff Apothecary. “We want to provide every client with an amazing downtown experience and there is no better place to do that than in the Oregon District. Many people will take a whole day off for their hair and we’re so happy that beyond our space, our clients can have access to wonderful dining and shopping experiences within walking distance of our new location.”
Puff Apothecary will be having an invite-only soft opening on first Friday, July 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Along with neighboring businesses and community stakeholders, they are extending an invite to all their waitlisted clients and they are still accepting people at www.puffapothecary.com/studio. Puff Apothecary will be open Saturday for the Independent District Day event. Their open hours will be Wednesday to Saturday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
